Greetings,

In my foolish haste, I roasted a wire on my 1982 Suzuki 450GST. Thankfully, it was only the wire to my headlights. I have followed the wire all the way to the plastic retainer which is stored in the headlight, but I cannot seem to remove the wire itself (& its metal clip inside the retainer) from the plastic retainer itself. I tried pliers, & eventually pulled the wire itself from the retainer, leaving the metal piece inside. I'm really at a loss. I've tried sticking small metal things in there to wiggle/pull/push it out, but to no avail. Is there some sort of special tool I just don't know of for this sort of thing? If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
