I've been making an 84 sabre road worthy and I'm having an issue. I took the 4 carbs apart and cleaned them as the bike would not start before. It runs and idles just fine now and I can rev it up to red line. When I ride it though, it is difficult to get it going in first from a stop. I have to really over rev it. After I get going I can't get it over 5,000 RPM. Redline is 10,000 RPM. Consequently, 45 is about top speed right now. The problem seems to be within the carbs but I'm not sure where to start. Looking for some advice. Thanks!
