As hard as I tried, I could see absolutely no difference
other than color. Even size-wize, the two are virtually identical.
The same dealership has a used GSXR750 ('06 maybe?) that I might
test ride when it gets a little warmer, but as much as I'd love to have
a GSXR750, personally, I think it might be too narrowly focused
to fit my style of riding. The next bike I plan to add to my stable
will likely be a VFR Interceptor, tho even that bike overlaps
my Blackbird style-wise. What to do......What to do? . |
My brother has a Blackbird and I have ridden it a lot. If you want something with sharper handling and quicker reflexes, the GSXR is very hard to beat. I have toured on my GSXR750 and it is not as bad as you think. It is not as comfortable as the Blackbird, but not too bad. The GSXR has fully adjustable suspension, and takes a little time to get dialed in. Once it is, you will be hooked.
The 600 and 750 are basically the same bike. The 750 is faster (of course) and has better suspension parts.
It'll be at least next year before I buy another.
