I had to charge my battery for about 5 hours to get a full charge.
But i'd advise from starting the bike, running it a for a couple mins, stopping/restarting.
We all know that if you drain a battery, charge it a bit, drain it, you really screw up the life of that battery.
Maybe you might want to get a batter tender or just have it charge for 5 or 6 hours.
