Very good question. The most now is just a Pipe slip on.
I never did ever hear of an upper limit on anything other than the Busa. What I do know is the speedo said 189 and after about 185 in fact I noticed it took longer to go up 1mph at a time.
Interesting question though, I wondered this myself.
