YIKES!!
After a nice ride on a warm Florida day my girlfriend was dismounting from the rear seat and lightly grazed the right cover under the seat with her shoe, the metal eyelets left (seemingly) deep white scratches across the cover and C50 emblem, Later that night after several ice packs on my forehead and calls to a radio talkshow psychiatrist for therapy I decided to see they could be buffed out. Luckily a little rubbing compound and elbow grease removed the scratches entirely, (Good thing, I think she was getting tired
) and the wedding is back on! But seriously folks, I've heard many ways of removing scratches, from toothpaste, to rubbing compound to even using a black magic marker to mask them if all else fails. I was just wondering what kind of luck anyone else has had removing blemishes from both the nice C50 paint job or the chrome.. And what do you use to clean the windshields, I have a Memphis Fats and have heard Windex is a NoNo..
