Thanks all for the advice and tips!! Powered up the GPS today while Junior was napping. Works just fine. Some pics attached. Ran the wires in wire loom on the throttle side through the neck, under the tank, and came out just under the seat and right into the battery. Used velcro on the top of tree to mount 12v socket.
