I just bought a 2004 Volutia Intruder 800 with only 2100 miles on it. The previous owner told me it was "cold blooded" since he cut the baffles out of the exhaust.

Will the reduced back pressure damage the engine?

Can it be re-jetted to run right? It sputters on low end unless I make the idol mix so rich it wont idol right. It has a #55 jet in it now and I' at about 900 ft. altitude
