Default Kuryakyn highway pegs on Cobra freeway bar

On my '07 C50 I have the cobra engine guard. Last summer I just had some cheap folding highway pegs, but my legs are about an inch to short to reach them comfortably. I did my best to angle the folding pegs so that they were as close to my body as possible, but it was still a stretch and made using the pegs rather useless. So, it looks like the KYRYAKYN LONGHORN OFFSET DUALLY HIGHWAY PEGS can be positioned so they will compensate for my short legs.--just an inch or 2 is needed. Can someone tell me if the longhorns will solve this and do they fit onto the cobra bar without obstructing anything? From the point of attachment, how far toward the rider can they be positioned? I know I will need the 1.25 inch clamp size. These cost around 140 dollars so if they will not be any closer to my body than the cheap folding pegs, it would be a waste of money.
