Fats 21" is on.....
Installed the Fats 21" yesterday. Have it on the lowest height, and all the way forward. After 200 miles, I can live with the 21", but the 19" may have been even better. My line of sight is right where the shield edge is. Not a huge problem, I'll get use to it. I have to play around with the angle too. Have some "swirling" wind in front of my face, guessing the angle will fix that. I'll bring the shield back towards me a bit and see if that helps. Final thoughts, I like it! Much quieter ride, less fatigue, and no dodging.
P.S. - Install was time comsuming. Guy who owned the bike before me must have had a shield on (portion of mounts left on) and spotlights (mount left on). I had to remove all these. Headlight had to come off, cable guide off. No biggy, but you know, just more to delay the project. And, with his shield mount (new hardware replaced old) I had to track down some hardware that would work. Ended up just going to local store and grabbing a few flat washers, lock washers, and acorn nuts to use under the triple tree (mount was bolted underneath top triple tree). Anyway, "Got'er done".
