 Returning to riding
Hello all from central Arkansas; Hot Springs to be exact.
I rode a Yamaha twin 200 back in the 70's; really enjoyed it. But, life happens and I gave it up about 1980.
Then, last fall, gas prices convinced me to get back into riding. Found a really nice, used Intruder 800 and bought it from a guy who had to give up riding for medical reasons.
It's funny how small this world we live in is. He (and I) had worked the offshore oil industry for our careers. Both of us being retired now; and both of us now being a long ways from the nearest offshore rig allowed us to find and talk about something in common besides motorcycles.
I think at the end of the day, he felt like he could trust who bought his baby.
