Man. Hate to hear that. Been there and it's not a good feeling. But also glad to hear she seemed to be relatively ok in the end. Last time I had something like that happen ws a couple of years ago. Driving from Monmouth, IL back to the airport in Peoria. The ramp from Interstate 74 onto 474 sort of took me by surprise.. had a little direction change I wasn't expecting. And apparently neither was the guy on the Harley behind me. I happened to glance in the rearview mirror and realized the guy on the Harley behind me was never going to make the curve. He didn't. But like your situation, he was extremely lucky. Walked to the ambulance under his own power. But his bike was trashed.
