 650 oil change
Hi all, another new guy here and forums are still new to me but I am confused. I tried to search but I didnt find what I am looking for. I own a 2000 v-star 650 that I purchased new from yamaha. Ive seen some threads on here that state you have to remove the front exhaust pipe when you change the oil. Ive changed the oil filter on my bike without having to do that. Am I skipping a step or are the newer models different or does that only apply to aftermarket exhaust? Thanks for the help.
