I had posted previously about wanting to turn my C50 into an old school bobber style bike. So what I did was buy an old M50 rear fender I found on ebay and removed the stock C50 fenders (front and rear).
I had to modify the rear fender frame and drill a new seat hole in the M50 rear fender. I also trimmed the fender so it was less "bobtail" and more rounded. I took pictures along the way in case anyone was interested in how this was done. I will upload them later today.
I am going to make a license plate bracket and taillight assembly. I am also going to have the rear fender supports powdercoated gloss black to match the frame.
I am waiting for some extra cash so I can buy some matte clearcoat ($65) and then I can start my new paint.
I intend to do something different with the exhaust pipes - but I cant make up my mind yet what style I want to make. That will be a different topic moe than likely
I am going to wait until the sun comes up and put the new fender on the bike to get a good picture in mock up. The rear fender is red and the gas tank is 2tone silver so it should look "ecclectic"

hahahaa
