 Harley 04 Sportster
About two months ago I bought a used 04 1200 cc Sportster. Nothing but trouble. 1st off, when you blipped the throttle the engine would miss and sometimes stall. Had to take it back 3 times before they got it right. 2nd new problem. Now that I can ride the bike for longer distances, after about 30 or 40 miles the thing gets stuck in neutral. Very scary when trying to enter a freeway. I did found however, that if I just lightly hold in the clutch it will go into 2nd. Of course it doesn't do it when I take it to the dealer. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
When the bike is running well it is a fantastic ride.
