thanks, I never really left. I'm thinking about giving up the R1 and looked at the Bandit 1250. I think you piped in on my "is it worth it" post. My latest plan (and my plans change every day) is to by "a" bike (maybe a 1250 maybe not) from some where, ride it to the coast (CA) and either store it or ship it home to HI. You have any ideas which is the best state (in regards to price) to buy a bike from, storage cost or recommendations, and emergency road service (i'll be alone), best time of year to do it (HI is riding weather all year long)?
