 Buying a bike
Heya, made a post here awhile ago, and have finally found a bike I am interested in buying (2003 250r, 1k miles, 1800$, looks in good shape with very minor cosmetic damage, and the guys is a bike buff so it was probably taken care of well), and well, the one guy that I know who has a bike (and sort of got me into them) is in greece for another 1-2 months. I dont have my license, (illinois has a free MSF sort of deal, but registration is once a year, in february) and have only ridden a few times on my buddies gsx600, almost exclusively in first gear, and dont feel comfortable enough to wing it the 40miles or w/e to my place.
So what would you guys do in my situation? just wait a few months and try to get a diff. bike? or rent a 'trailer' or w/e? I dont have a truck i can use, have an older sedan so idk, what do you guys think? it seems like a really good deal and might be worth it, but idk how prices go down during the winter as ive only been looking for a bike for a month or so now
