Indeed. You were lucky.
A couple of months ago, right here in "River City", a young fellow tried to pass a slow moving semi.....on the right side. Turns out the truck was moving slow because he was positioning himself for a RIGHT TURN. That young rider is not able to tell us the lesson he learned.
