I just installed the MS Fats 19" windscreen today. Put it as low as possible, lower clamp is about 2mm above the blinker mount. Went for about an hour ride with 45 minutes of it on the highway at 65mph+. No head buffeting, seems to be just what I was looking for.

The only time it will be on the bike will be for long-ish rides...like 2+ hours of freeway riding. Can take it off with care in under 2 minutes. Sissy bar pops off in 5 seconds too. Life is good, although it's getting chilly out. Will be down to 40F tonight and I'm heading out on a road trip at 7AM. Good thing the new overpants showed up this week.

I agree with your comment about function over form michigunman. When I do have the extras installed I want them to do their job properly and am not to concerned about what other people think of them. Personally I don't like windscreens and sissy bars on my bikes but at times they are necessary.
