I own both a 2006 C50C and a 2003 Intruder VL1500 LC (C90 now) . I love the C50 on the back roads which we normally travel because of its light weight and nimble handling. No problem on long distance runs and much better gas mileage. The only area that the bigger bike comes into play is if you`re going to be doing any freeway riding as the revs are much lower and therefore doesn`t tire you out as much. Other than that the C50 is a fine bike for all occasions and I think you would be quite happy with it.
