 bike messed up
i have 88 katana and runs bad. I have brought it to 3 shops and still is not fixed. The bike has carbs from 97 katana on it and vance and hines 4 to 1. The bike will run great for 30 miles and the die when I slow down. It starts running boggy in every gear. After a while it won't start until it cools down in 45 mins. The dealer said it was the carbs but seems like they didn't fix it. My problems began when i got the bike jetted at DJ118 and pipes on. I also dumped the bike. Should I leave stocks jets in? Could this be anything else than running rich?
