Sounds like you could have any number of problems from a clogged injector, clogged injector line, clogged fuel pump, varnished lines pump or injector, out of sync throttle bodies, clogged air filter or what not. Sounds like you need to take it to a shop that isn't going to just hook it up to a pc and test it. They need to let the darn thing sit overnight, then take it out cold and start it, let it get warm enough to ride it, then do a full function check on the throttle and cables before a ride, then take it out and do a slow speed/low rpm ride, then gradually take it up to proper speeds and rpms. They should try to get the darn thing to chop or bogg out before they hook it up to a pc. Any GOOD mechanic knows you may at some point just have to take a bike out to see what it's doing because it may not show up on the pc diagnostics. With only 6K on the odo, it shouldn't be acting up. Have you taken it in for it's 5K servicing? They should check valve lash and the sync of your tbi system and make adjustments as necessary during this service. Heck, it could be something as simple as a plug that just has a carbon deposit in just the right (wrong) place to not spark properly until it's been forced to arc itself clean. If you haven't changed the plugs with 6K on the odo, I would start there.
