 Starting Problems
I have a 2001 Yamaha 650 Vstar Classic ... I was riding over the weekend and the front spark plug stopped firing ... Anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it? The spark plug looked fine ... I pulled the spark plug out and connected the wire and started the bike ... it did not seem to have any spark from the plug. After a while it started working fine. I dont want to be 4 hours away from home and have this happen again ... Can Anyone help?
I have since replaced the spark plugs and it is still an issue ... anyone know what to check next?
The only thing that I have recently done to the bike is the following
I dont know if this is somehow connected:
I have removed my front turn signals (did not like the look) and then both my back turn signals started blinking when I turn on the turn signal (Either side). Someone told me that I need to disconnect the turn signal indicator light on the speedometer
I did this and my problem with the rear turn signals went away
Then a couple of weeks later I started having issues with the front spark plug
Could there be a connection?
