(I'm usually an M50 guy, but I lurk/read here a lot. figured if anyone would know what this thing's worth, it'd be you folks)
I've been a big Bandit fan since my younger days, and have a chance to pick up a soon to be orphaned Bandit 1200, black, in 9/10 shape. It's got some small character marks, but nothing that really bugs me. Tires are good, paint is good for a 1999. Exhaust is clean and relatively rust/yuck free. Seat's in great shape.
It's never been down, I know the original owner, and he's a good wrench, and a solid bike owner. I trust the bike, if that makes any sense. (it's now on its second owner, he bought it this spring, and hasn't put 500 miles on it due to a bunch of things, so he's selling it)
Now the catch. It's got 9300 miles. Bone stock, nothing added. The current owner's looking for $3300. Is it worth it? Its what I'm looking for, and I know it's solid, so I'm sort of jaded in my opinion on what I'm willing to pay, so I wanted some input before I went into the whole "I'll give ya XX much for it" conversation.
Any input would be great. Anyone? Bueller?
