 Help identifying a helmet I tried on today
I tried on a HJC full face helmet today. I was wanting to research reviews online but I don't know the exact model. It is matte black (I also saw a matte silver as well there) and it has the retractable internal visor as well as the usual external visor. It looks like the pics of the HJC FS-10 except it doesn't look like the FS-10 has the slot on the top where you manipulate the internal visor. The helmet I tried on had a very visible slot that I'm pretty sure I could see in slightly off the front angle shots in which they usually show helmets. The internal visor is manually operated, not spring loaded to where it drops by pressing a button.
The shop wanted only $59.95 for the helmet whereas similar looking HJC helmets on ebay seem to be going for $125 to $225. This helmet was at a little shop where things seemed priced to move so I don't want to pass up a great deal but just want to know if that is a fairly normal price, if so why so low and ultimately is it a good helmet. My next choice is a Fulmer matte black at $140 at a different shop. Can anybody help figure out which model HJC I tried on? It's probably a year or two old. Anyone got an HJC with retractable internal visor?
