About the M95, the Kawasaki Mean Steak is the same bike. Suzuki and Kawasaki had an agreement where they would rebrand some of each other's bikes. Suzuki got the M95 from the Mean Streak and Kawasaki got the KLX400 from the DRZ400, etc.
If she wants the bobtail style fender (what the M50 and M95 have), there are a few other models that have that style such as the V-Star 1100 Custom.
The ZZR600 is supposed to be somewhat a "sport-touring" bike. If your girlfriend isn't comfortable on it for long distances, then a new bike may be in order, but if she is happy on the ZZR for long distance and there is no other reason to get a cruiser, she should keep the ZZR. |
Dont get me wrong she likes the bike, she has it jetted and a custom exhaust and it is a pretty fast bike, but she cant move her legs to any other positions on long rides which is the biggest deal. Even though we stop often her knees start hurting. Otherwise she would keep her bike as she does like it other then that.
As far as the power. Its not my idea, I could care less what she rides as long as she is happy riding it. However I do know her mostly and know what she likes and she likes to have a little bit of resources available if you know what I mean. Same reason she got the grand prix with the little supercharger in it.
Allthough good for making sure its not the alter ego boyfreind thing trying to throw someone ona bike thats too much for them. That stuff drives me crazy when you see these kids on there first bike (600 crotch rocket lol) and they think its a beginner bike. Im 245lbs and her 600 still could get me in some seriouse trouble if Im too twisty lol.
I think we will try the M50 and the vstar 1100 and see what she thinks of both and go from there. Hopefully we can swindle a few test rides.
Thanks guys.
