I got to mention here that it takes only about 1 hrs time and couple bucks for lowering links to get the Vstrom down to say a DR's height. If you are looking for an all around bike and the DR's and KLR's make the list but the Vstrom doesn't because of height, I wouldn't let that keep you from buying a trutly great bike
