I have to agree with Rickster. I am a new rider this very year and I have Driven so far A 2001 Yamaha R1 a 2002 GSXR 750 and I currently own a 1995 Suzuki RF900. Now I only bought the Rf because Im cheap and I got it for 1800 bucks but It packs a 937cc and quite frankly even though it can haul butt at high rpms I really prefer it and the yamaha R1 over the gsxr 750 because the low end torque makes it quite alot easier for puttering along. I am not in any way complaining about the 750 because it is an awesome machine. It really does come down to preference after all but it is nice not to have to wind it up to much for in town driving. The gsxr 750 I rode has since been totaled.
