I too am considering the V-strom 650. I really like the Bandit 1250, but think I could have plenty of fun with a V-Strom and it may be better suited to my riding experience (8000 miles on an S50, Team Oregon IRT, RSP and ART).
The Bandit just plain turns me on! But I think I should work up to that kind of power and the V-Strom seems like the bike to do it on.
My one concern is seat height, but I guess we'll see how the test ride feels.
