You want to be careful about not getting the tank TOO full.
If it then sits in the hot sun (or even going down the road) and the fuel gets hot and expands, a little bit can come out the vent in the cap.
Think about where the wind will blow those drops of gas.......what is directly behind the tank when you are riding. It's not a pleasant thought!
