Well, being not too mechanically inclined, I was proud that when my bike dies last week, I was able to narrow down the problem to either the fuel pump or elictrical for the pump. Apart from that, I don't know how to really test either of them. All I know is that when bypassing the pump with a hand pumping syphon, the bike runns perfect.
I was just going to buy a new pump, replace it, and hope things worked, but that pump is not available anywhere apparantly. I see a few on e-bay here and there, but nothing new, and no comment saying they are sure that their pump works.
Any thoughts on buying a pump, and how to test it?
