Shattered Piston Skirt on Honda CR80 '01
Couple quick questions. I'm doing my first fresh Top-end job on the is cr80 and have taken the head and cylinder off, and the piston skirt shattered and dropped into the crank area. I'm using ATF to flush it out, but wasn't sure how much oil (i'm assuming the same oil i use for the fuel mix, to put back into the crank area.)
Second question is, I have play in piston arm left and right, but no vertical play. is that correct or should there be no play left and right either? I want to make sure I don't shatter the skirt on the exhaust valves. So should I drop the $160 bucks for a new crank.
Third question is, does anybody have any tricks or links for installing the new Weisco piston and gasketts? i.e. torque #'s on the head and cylinder etc.....Thanks!
