 '07 Yamaha Silverado hard to start when hot...
My father in law has a 2007 Yamaha Silverado 1100 with 13K miles on it (yeah he rode a lot since last spring!). Anyway, he has a hard time restarting it in hot weather after riding for a half hour or so. When it finally does restart, it normal blows a lot of black smoke. I am a BMW tech (cars) and it almost acts like a "hot soak" problem, but haven't ever messed around with bikes. Anyone experienced this problem before? He has taken it into the shop a few times and has yet to correct the problem. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Dave
