What would be an ideal GPS for a bike is, street level detail in Monochrome...with voice navigation and auto routing.

My old Monochrome Street Pilot seems to work best in direct sunlight, but it doesn't speak. My Street Pilot III is color and has the voice navigation, but is difficult to see in sunlight, especially when your eyes are 53 years old.

Maybe I'll make a suggestion to Garmin, I'm sure they have everything on the shelf to come up with one.......

Don't need touch screen, just decent buttons too, and a good battery life. Backlighting would also be nice....

I guess I'm asking for the old MonochromeStreet Pilot w/ all the features....able to download routes too.

maybe one of these days...
