To calrify, he never overshot it in the sense that he was in any danger of hitting the edge of the road. Rather he picked an inside line about 18" from the centerline and it appeared he intended to keep that line all the way through. However, as he was still turning progressively tighter a he approached the exit, causing him to drift to the center. That now put him in a more difficullt position to prepare for the next curve entrance. So he overshot "his line".
