I have read the other windshield threads but let me tell you what I want out of one, and you guys tell me which one would work the best. After getting killed by bugs that felt like tiny needles hitting my face, it's time for a windshield.

I want one tall enough where there will not be much wind hitting my helmet. My wife also rides with me, so I also have to take her into consideration also. I don't want a huge shield; I want one that looks good on the bike.

I was looking at the Memphis shades, Big Shot. Will I be looking through the shield with this model, or over the shield. I'm 5'11 if this helps.

Also, do we use the 7" or 9" cut out?
