Hello everyone..I'm new to these forums but have been riding for a few years. I have a 94 Katana 600 that I have taken all over the Western United states. Its been a good bike but lately has been giving me a few problems. Two weeks ago I left it parked for the weekend and when I started it up it wasn't running right. It ran like it does when its running out of gas, intermitent power, sluggish throttle, doesn't idle well, etc. So I switched to my reserve, but it didn't fix the problem. Got it home and parked it for the next couple of days. Filled it with 92 octane a couple of days later thinking maybe the 87 I had used previously was the source of the problem.. didn't fix it. I also can smell gas when it runs but I have checked all my fuel lines and no leaks. Also I've gone through that tank of 92 octane in less than a week/100 miles when I know it should last much longer than that. I have recently replaced all my plugs, fuel filter, fuel lines. Don't know if that information helps but maybe it will. If anyone could give me any advice on what to do I would greatly appreciate it.
