 exhaust q's for the ACE
Hi all, I have a 2002 Shadow ACE and want to upgrade the exhaust. The only probem I am having is IT'S EXPENSIVE!!! A buddy was telling me it may be possible to remove the stock "bazooka" and put 2 slip on muffler/pipes on there. That may save a bit of money, but I'm not sure it'll work. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm trying not to modify the original exhaust like I've seen on other sites. I'd like a whole new exhaust, but don't really have the money for the system, the rejet for 2 carbs and the labor for all of it.
Any help, suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows what other models are compatible with this bike would help too. I can't find a lot for this model, so that makes it hard as well.
