You'll see a bolt at the hinge. Pushing the backrest forward (it's spring loaded-- helps when swinging you leg over the bike to mount it!) you expose the head of that bolt. By screwing this bolt in or out, you adjust the fore-aft position of the backrest (it actually adjusts the fore-aft tilt more than anything else). As you can see, I currently have it mostly screwed in. But if I screwed it all the way in, and then raised the backrest, it would sit a bit further back. |

This is just a bit out of my price range. I still hope to get a better fit with the grasshopper backrest.
