Default DL1000 chutters

I have been dealing with typical 3500-4500 rpm chutters on my Vee Strom. I took it in for a TB sync and install a PCIII and it didn't help much at all. Well it was raining this morning so I decided to take a look at somethings and maybe replace the air cleaner ect. So I pulled the tank and opened up the air box and find that the front throttle body boot is just resting on the collar and the back on is completely off as well. Now I am wondering how the heck the shop could even get the TB's to sync, from my understand loose boots cause all type of havoc with a TB sync. Anyways I take the airbox off and loosen the claps reinstall tighten it all back up. Then I hooked up a manometer to the vacuum ports and warm up the engine and set the idle to about 1500 rpm. Low and behold the front and rear TB's are almost 10 points off. Well using as pair of 11" needle nose pilers I got at the pesky hard to reach adjustment screw and with a little tweaking got them balanced out. After a 100 mile test ride my only thought was this isn't my bike, HOLY COW! awesome. Not sure why I am writing this up maybe its because I am so dam happy @ the moment, but I will never take my bike in for a repair or tuning again just because I am to lazy to do it myself.
