I had a V-star 1100, I thought it was pretty comfortable but I didn't like the vibration at the higher speeds and couldn't handle the 1300's price tag. I traded it in for a 2006
C50T, it is such a smooth ride, very well balanced and has more than enough power.
It is good for the running around town and good on the highway. My only negative on the c50 is I keep kicking the bloody saddlebags when I get on. I'm only 5 4" so that may have something to do with. I have three friends all with the same bike and their complaint is no tach. I go by ear as I drive a standard car so don't really use the tach. The V-star I had to look down a bit more for the speedometer, the C50's is higher. Hope that helps.
