I slipped a disk in my back while golfing in my early 30's. I was laid up for four days and haven't been the same since. I'm now 43. My back was starting to twang (Like electric shocks going down my back when I first started riding again. I found that I was pushing the bike around too much to manuver it out of my driveway and past the cars. I have been doing various stretches before riding and also use the bike's power now more to manuver it and haven't felt any spasms for a couple weeks! I'll even do some wiggles and rotations while on the bike while I'm stopped at a stop light. I hope it was just some back muscles that weren't used to the jolts of motorcycling and they have since strengthened up. We'll see. I had a friend in his early 50's who had to give up motorcycling because of a bad hip.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you.

Man...I wondered why there were cobwebs in here!

I have a feeling I'm the square peg trying to fit in a round hole.
