Another guy came through the other day and my sisters and brothers and the neighborhood kids were out on the road, and he didn't even slow down. He just floored the pedal, lit his cigarette, and grinned as he sped past. When he came back through again, he was halfway out the window, grinning and drinking up a can of beer. One of our friends is going to report him next time he comes through the neighborhood like that. People like that need to stay off the road! |
Two words..... Baseball Bat.
I had a totally amazing incident the other day, trundling through the town at 30mph, spotted an old lady approaching a junction and she was staring ahead.. intently.. I realised right then, she was oblivious to me so I slowed right down. As did the chap coming in the opposite direction, she continued through the junction, straight across the main road (my road) and into the junction on the other side of the road all at about 3MPH , still staring straight ahead. At this point I had stopped, as had the other guy and the traffic was stopping behind us also.. everyone.. even pedestrians were absolutely transfixed by the incident.
I only hope she gives up driving really soon, as some tosspot boy racer will insist on his right of way.. and cause an accident.
