Thanks again for you guys taking the time to respond to the battery location. I found it right where you said it would be. it removed easily enough without having to raise the rear wheel at all. I replaced the battery because it had a dead cell and the bike, a new bike, for me at least a 2002 1400 Intruder is a dream.
