I have been saving for a while and this time I want to buy a cruiser. I have priced out 08 Vulcan 900 Classic and 08 Boulevard C50LE but I have always wanted a M109R.

I am a very careful person and react well to numerous situation. However, I am only 5'6" 175 lbs. I have sat on M109R, and thought it was extremely heavy as it is ~1800cc bike, but thought I could handle it as I was waddling back and forth on it.

I know myself well and I know I will get bored right away if I settle on a bike that I can handle at this time. Also, I am married, but don't have a baby planned for 2 years, so this will be the last big spending I can afford without worrying about other finances.

Please talk me out of it or into it.....I will be buying this new as I don't see too many options where I live (Fargo, ND) without adding on shipping issues.

Thank you in advance.
Ive been riding for 22 years.Ive had them all Gsxr 750 then 1100 then CBR 900 RR.I right now own a suzuki intruder 1500.
I have been looking at the 109r and it is sick. The problem is your in experience and the thrill when you twist the throttle of a bike with 127 horse power stock.
The fact you said you would get bored if you had a bike you could handle says it all.Get the 109r and you may not be able to handle it and then it gets ugly.
I would try a little older bike. They are very dependable and when your ready to upgrade you can sell it for what you owe on it.
Trust me my lip is bleeding I want the 127 horse power and the 240 rear tire.Good luck with whatever you do ride safe.
