I just got home from my daily ride home from work . I always take the back way home because there are some twisty that way .well on the 2nd nice right hand turn I came across a deer standing in my path . I needed to slam on the brakes in the middle of the turn to miss the deer but thanks to the some of the threads here over the last week or so by allot new riders on emergency stops. I went out a few days ago and did a few so THANKS TO ALL I was able to not only remember not to slam the brakes while in the turn I got it up straight then slammed them on I did not hit the deer or go into the ditch on the side of the road . I barley had to put my foot down. this goes to show you keep your eyes up and remember what they taught at the safety course practice when you can.
