I love my gixxer, but I've never ridden a CBR, R6, or a Kawi, so I couldn't really compare it with the other 600cc sportbikes. I really like the throttle response of the gixxer, it is very maneuverable, and it has a LOT of grip (with a tire upgrade). You can usually talk down the price, and they're actually usually cheaper than the R6 and CBR600RR, at least in my area. I could have got a brand new gixxer for 8,400 out the door, instead I got it used for a little cheaper. My friend just bought a brand new CBR for 9,000 out the door, so I think the gixxer is actually a little cheaper. The 750, though, might be a different story.
Although the R6 might have better top end, the Honda has better midrange, and the Kawi has better low end, the gixxer has an excellent combination of all three.
