The GSXR has been dominant on the track and in magazine reviews over the last few years. Market economics.
I don't think it's true that the R6 has had serious problems. There was the tachometer snafu, but that didn't affect the ride at all. What else have you heard? I'd buy from any of the big four, depending on ergos.
