Long Story, short. About a month or so ago, I dropped my bike and screwed up the tank. I plan on having a buddy here at work do the repair and repaint the tank and other pieces to match.
As a big fan of Chip Foose and the show Overhaulin, I really liked the way his truck turned out.
Does anyone remember what they called his paintjob? I seem to recall "three stage black" There was some special name to the process, I believe, than the actual paint.
Any-rate, w/o knowing this information, I had just planned on a black pearl base with 3 coats of clear, debadged of course. I have yet to decide on wether or not to pin-stripe. I doubt I'll want any kind of graphics on there.
Any suggestions?
