The first time I was pulled over on my motorcycle for speeding, the officer gets out of his patrol car and asks for my license.
I give him my motorcycle permit, which clearly states that I can lawfully ride a motorcycle, and he runs the permit, and then asks, "Why don't you have a motorcycle license?"
I tell him that a permit has all the advantages of the motorcycle license, just a shorter duration of validity.
Anyways, somehow he got confused and thought that I had no motorcycle endorsement, and just a driving permit for a car. he then makes a show of "letting me off easy" for not having a motorcycle endorsement.
The next day, I go to the DMV and ask them to search my permit, and they say I do indeed have the motorcycle endorsement I believed I had.
